General overview of Texas Holdem

Texas Holdem is considered as the best poker online game. The purpose of this game is to win the bank. The player, which creates the best 5-card poker hand wins the game. By means of 2 closed cards and 5 common cards, a minimum of two and a maximum of ten players play Texas Holdem, using a 52 cards deck.

A course of the game

The players have distributed 2 cards at the commencement of each hand. The cards are called “pocket” cards. Afterward, 5 common cards are distributed on the table. From these 7 common cards, the players are able to use any card, in order to create a 5-card combination that correspondingly wins the bank.

Variety of the game

When you want to play limited poker online, the increase of the maximum bet, the so-called “raise” is agreed upon before starting the game. For example: in ½ limit game, bet and raise are both 1. In the last two rounds, bet and raise are 2. In the pot limit game, the maximum amount of bet and raise should equal to the total sum, currently available in the bank. In pot limited poker online games, the number of raises is not limited. In unlimited games, the number of bets is not limited as well. All the players are able to place any bet in the round corresponding to the minimum (equaling to the big blind) bet. We provide different versions of online poker as well as a wide range of casino table games that could be interesting for those who want to try something new.

Rounds

The poker game is divided into 4 rounds, which are created by the initial bank incoming from blinds. The player, which is the first to sit at the table becomes the dealer and a round disk (the dealer’s drum) is awarded to him. The game is conducted clockwise, starting from the player sitting beside the dealer. During poker online tournaments, when the players sit at the table simultaneously, each player takes a card and the player who receives the highest card becomes the cards’ distributor, i.e. the dealer. The dealer’s drum moves clockwise from one player to another in each hand. Want to play poker online tournaments with the best rewards and the highest bonuses in Georgia. Blinds

To play the blind poker version online the two players have to sit on the left side of the dealer and place blind bets, the so-call blinds. These bets are compulsory and they guarantee the availability of a certain sum in the bank for starting the game. The player sitting on the dealer’s left side places a “small blind” and the player next to him places a “big blind”, which is twice as big as the “small blind”. For example: if the small blind is 1, then the big blind shall be 2. If the player does not have enough coins to place a blind, he/she places all the coins (all-in). If there are two players in the game, the small and the big blinds shall be placed anyway. In this case, the dealer places the big blind and the first round starts.

Preflop

Each player has distributed two closed cards and all the players only see their own cards. The player sitting on the left side of the second player will start the playing round. This player is able:
1)To correct the amount equaling to the big blind, i.e. Call;
2)To raise the bet amount, i.e. Raise;
3)To throw the cards and leave the game, i.e. Fold.

When you play poker other players are able to do the same when their betting turn comes. When comes that player’s betting turn, which has placed the big blind, he/she is able to let it go, i.e. the so-called “check” if another player does not raise the bet before. If another opponent raises the bet (raise), the player who has placed the big blind, is able to select Call, Raise or Fold. When all the bets are corrected, the initial bank will be created and the game will pass to the next round. The first three cards represent the common table cards, the so-called Flop. During the flop, three common cards are distributed on the poker table and all the players are able to use them. The player who has placed the small blind starts the round and when all bets are equal, the game passes to the next round. After turning the fourth common card (turn) on the table, the third trading round will start. After the distribution of the fifth card, the final round, the so-called River starts and when all bets are equal, the players have to show their cards. Usually, the player who has placed a bet in the last round is the first to open the cards. If in the final round, all the remaining players make a check (i.e. none of the players makes a bet), the first player sitting on the left side of the dealer who has not left the game will be the first to open the cards. Moreover, when it comes to poker online rules all the players will open the cards clockwise successively. If the player’s hand is weaker than the current winning’s hand, the player can show or throw the cards. The best 5-card hand will win the bank. If the players have an equally strong hand, the bank will be divided. In such case, each player will receive the betted amount back and the bank will be divided between them.

The game specifics

To play poker online successfully you have to follow the basic rules. The Rules of the omitted blind. This rule prevents the players from entering the game at later positions in order to avoid placing blinds. If a player wishes to enter an already started game, he/she has to place the entrance fee, which equals to the big blind, or to select one from the following options:
-Place the big blind; or
-Wait for the big blind;
During the poker game, if the player decides to wait for the big blind, he/she cannot join the game until the big blind comes back to his/her position. If the player was sitting at the table but left the table as a result of the big blind omission, he/she will also have to omit the small blind and the dealer’s drum. If the player omits the small and the big blinds, he/she will be required to place a sum equaling to the big blind, plus a dead bet in the amount of the small blind-“all-in”. If the player has no more coins, he/she will not have to leave the game immediately. In such case, he/she can enter the “all-in”, i.e. place the remaining coins. If this happens, the bank will be divided into the main and the separate banks with all the following bets. If the player who places the “all-in” does not win, the winner will receive all the coins (both the main and the separate banks). If the player who places the “all-in” wins, he/she will receive the main bank, but the separate bank will go to the player, which will occupy the second place. If several players place “all-in”, several separate banks will be created. If the player who received all the bets of “all-in” does not place “all-in” and has the highest combination of cards at the opening, he/she will receive the main and the separate banks. If the player who was already in “all-in” has the best combination, he/she will win the bank, which was created before his/her entrance into “all-in”. All the players of “all-in” having high cards combination can win only that bank, in which they have input. The table bets “by-in” represent the amount required from each player, in order to be able to participate in the poker game. All cash games have a minimum “by-in”, which is required from the player before he/she starts playing.

By-in

The minimum by-in requirement of limited online poker is ten times more than the big blind. The maximum by-in is not required here. For example: in the ½ limited game, the big blind value is 1; therefore, the minimum by-in is 10×1 or 10 pots and unlimited. Pot limited games have minimum and maximum by-ins; the minimum by-in is 20 times more than the small blind and the maximum by-in is 100 times more than the big blind. For example: in 1/2 unlimited and pot limited games, where the small blind is 1 and the big blind is 2, the minimum by-in will be 20 and the maximum 200. Table bets. All the poker games and the top poker online tournaments comply with the rules that apply to table bets. It is impossible to add coins during the round on the player’s stack. The players are able to add coins only between the rounds. When other tournaments offer new buys and additions, doing this is possible only after the completion of the hand, before the next hand starts. However, the players are able to add coins during the hand if they do not play this hand themselves. The players are not allowed to remove coins from the table during the game. Doing this is possible only after leaving the game. It does not matter how many coins are placed on the table, this rule applies anyway. The table bet rules have been developed in order to protect the game and ensure the course of the game. For example, if the player was allowed to put several coins in his/her pocket at any time, the number of coins available for the game would be significantly reduced.
